HOW DOES IT WORK?

On the 15th of each month, the Musician’s Referral Service provides a listing of available musicians to thousands of potential employers of musicians via fax, email, the internet and regular mail. The referral service operates in every possible way to secure employment for it’s musicians - a printed listing, a web site, email and fax.

The printed list is mailed and faxed directly into the offices of over 1,000 potential employers in Nashville, TN; Branson, MO; Myrtle Beach, SC; the Smoky Mountain area of East Tennessee and other areas. We target every major artist and band direct or through their agent, manager or publicist. We also target music stores, night clubs, associations and any other possible employer or source of employment for our musicians.

The web site at www.dickmcvey.com offers those people who have internet access an immediate copy of the current listing of musicians. There is also a brief biography of Dick McVey and some of the other services he offers in Nashville.

During the course of the month, we receive numerous requests for musicians. We have the ability to fax the listing anywhere in the world, mail and email the printed listing anywhere in the world, and if our office is closed, our telephone message gives the caller our website address so they may immediately access names and numbers for available musicians.

If you’re not ready for the big time, we have also provided jobs for the beginner musician looking for his or her first garage band, for the “weekend warrior” with a day job who needs extra income or just misses playing, or the musician who wants to get those short term or one night fill in gigs. For the musician who wants to travel, we have placed literally thousands of musicians with road bands, and of course we have placed a number of musicians with major acts.

Please keep in mind that just one call more than pays for the service. All fees include your name and number available on the printed list,  the website, and available to anyone who calls our office.

The annual fee of $125.00 covers all services for a full year. You’ll never miss a call this way and you’ll save money.

If you live in Tennessee there is a one-time application fee of $ 20.00 plus a $ 15.00 monthly fee. Total for the first month is $35 and then $15 a month or less than 50 cents per day.

If you live outside Tennessee, there is a one-time application fee of $30 plus a $15.00 monthly fee. Total for the first month is $45 and then $15 per month, less than 50 cents per day.
