The studio is conveniently located less than ten minutes off Interstate 65 (Goodlettsville Exit 97) in a quiet area surrounded by beautiful horse ranches about 20 miles north of downtown Nashville.  The area immediately around the interstate provides many hotel rooms and restaurants and many things to do.  For shopping the Rivergate Mall is only five minutes away and the Country Music Hall Of Fame, Grand Ole Opry, Opryland Hotel, Nashville Palace, Wildhorse Saloon, Ryman Audtiorium and Opry Mills Mall are all less than 30 minutes away.  The Nashville Airport is less than 40 minutes away.

Technically speaking, Moonlight Recording Studio is a 24-track plus digital recording, mastering and editing facility. The studio utilizes the Alesis HD 24 hard disk recording system, the same equipment now being used to record a number of major artist's albums. The console is a 32 X 8 Mackie and projects are digitally edited, mixed and mastered in a computer environment using Steinberg's NUENDO program. We are also equipped with the Antares Vocal Tuner for those days when the pitch is not exactly there. There are very few problems we can't fix.  If you have a favorite vocal microphone or other piece of equipment, we can rent it and make it available to you.

We are also able to copy your digital mix to CD, DAT tape or cassette on the spot. With the equipment we have there are endless possibilities with what we can do to make your project the best you’ve ever done at a cost that is more than reasonable.

Moonlight Studio is proud to have produced a variety of projects including country, gospel, Christian, rock and alternative music. We recently recorded Holly Dunn's new CD titled "Full Circle" that is available on her website at www.hollydunn.com.  We are also proud to have produced several award-winning songwriter demos including one of the award winners in TNN’s Songwriting Contest that placed in the top 5 out of 15,000 entries. Some of the other artists who have used our studio include Mark Collie, Hal Ketchum, Lacy J. Dalton, Judy Rodman, Jack Greene and Helen Darling. The studio was also used to mix a Trisha Yearwood project she recorded in Australia. Dick also produced vocals in the studio for the Christian singing group Eklesia, who are part of the Billy Graham Crusade.

For those long days in the studio we also provide television, refrigerator and microwave and restaurants are just a few minutes away in Goodlettsville.  For shopping, we are five minutes from Rivergate Mall, one of Nashville's biggest shopping areas.  We don’t think you will find better quality recording for your dollar anywhere else and we have many references that will back that up.
